Felicia Rouse

My journey began in early education, where my leadership shone through as a pre-k teacher, field coordinator and center director. I later taught middle and school students, guiding them to discover their purpose. I was raised in a rural area in Florida that didn’t have a lot of opportunities for me to flourish. I had my daughter after I graduated high school then pursued a degree in Fashion Merchandising. I left college unfulfilled and with incomplete on my transcript. I had my son shortly after. I decided to make a life for my children and worked to support us. I always knew that I had a knack for resolving issues and uplifting spirits. I eventually pursued a career in early education in childcare. I enjoyed building relationships with the staff/teachers, parents and the communities where we were located.

I later taught middle and high school students. I was awarded “Teacher of the Year” in my third year of teaching. My students helped me extend growth, wisdom and joy in my journey as an educator. I am dedicated to promoting guidance, compassion and sharing the love I have through my faith. With a master’s in early education (with a concentration in administration, management and leadership) my passion and vision are the cornerstone of H.E.E.L.E.N, creating a nurturing space for all.
